I just finished the most intense, art filled, production oriented 5 days since Art School. This past week I attended the NYSS Marathon Intensive lead byBritish painter Graham Nickson. It was virtual, of course, and I was in my studio at 6am (9am EST) ready for long 11-12 hour days full of lectures, assignments and critiques embedded with Art History. It was a most challenging and wonderful week. It pushed me and inspired a new way of thinking about my art and reflection on why and how I do what I do. I am excited to see how my new learning and thinking finds its way into my work.
